Love | Amore

In the last decades, cross-border relationships have significantly increased in Italy, in proportion with the enlargement of the multicultural community. Yet for the country they are still a recent phenomenon, while in the communities of Italians abroad they have been a recurrent topic of conversation, spanning from the origin of Italian American writing to the most recent representations of Italians abroad. Alongside the discussion of family, the issues introduces by intercultural love preceeding marriages have been addressed often in Transnational Italian culture, within and outside the borders of the nation-state.
