Which culture we talk about when we talk about Italian culture? How the culture we identify as Italian changes transnationally, when is relocated in a multicultural system, like it has happened during Italian emigration, and what happens when it becomes the hegemonic culture in an increasingly multicultural society, like it has happened in the last decades? Many of the texts of my survey reflect on this aspects and reflect on the cultural tracts which make Italian culture recognizable transnationally and through its multiple hybridizations and transformations in history.
